Challenges seem to be something that have become a normal part of my life. However, no matter the challenge: relationship, financial, future, career, etc., I'm glad that I've had these challenges because I've learned from them. And I hope that others have learned from my mistakes so that they don't need to go through the same challenges.Probably my most in-the-forefront-challenge has been financial. Since "investing" 10's of thousands of dollars in an ex-boyfriend, I've been living hand-to-mouth, paycheck to paycheck. However, I've learned to BUDGET, I've learned to take care of ME before I take care of others, I've learned that it's ok to say NO, and I've learned that it's really a lot easier than I thought to NOT spend money on non-necessities.I've also learned that it's ok to be proud of overcoming challenges. Each month, when I hack away at my debt (because it IS my debt--I wrote the checks/signed the credit card slips), I am proud at its every-so-slowly (but still happening!) SHRINKAGE! Woo hoo!! I started with $65,000 in credit cards, loans (not student) and medical bills, and I'm now down to $35,000. Not bad for less than 3 years of hard work! So. . .what's your challenge?
